North-West College (NWC) was founded in 1966 by Marsha Fuerst. Since the early 1950s, Mrs. Fuerst’s family has been interested in allied health. Mitchell Fuerst, Mrs. Fuerst’s son, still owns North-West College. The Fuersts’ excitement for career education and willingness to deliver high-quality, suitable training is one of the College’s basic beliefs.
Through short-term projects, the University aims to prepare students for productive employment. The University has a capable faculty, well-qualified administration, and first-rate support staff to do this. The facilities are well-equipped, clean, and beautifully decorated to maintain a dynamic, cheerful, and welcoming environment. The quality of education is the College’s top focus. Regardless of color, appearance, or creed, students are selected based on their capacity to profit.

On the NWU’s Mahikeng Campus, Dr. Nelson Mandela Residence comprises two wings. Dr. Nelson Mandela 1, a female home, and Dr. Nelson Mandela 2, a male house, are both available. Each one has 252 rooms.

Rooms:

There are 252 rooms in each of the two wings (84 single and 84 sharing). Beds, workstations with chairs, and cabinets are provided in each room. There is internet access available.

Other services:

Bathrooms: Each block of nine rooms has two showers and two toilets.
Kitchens: Each block of nine rooms has one communal kitchen.
