Most universities have their own learning management systems, which are referred to by different names and maybe developed domestically or in collaboration with other institutions and/or companies, frequently in a multinational environment.
The focus of this study will be on the E-fundi program utilized by North-West University in South Africa, where the author has worked for over thirty years and has been exposed to the use of E-fundi in the last few years. This involvement made one realize the system’s capabilities and how they might be expanded, as well as the fact that something as simple as installing e-mentoring has been completely underutilized.

The North-West University’s Learning Management System (LMS) is the NWU eFundi. While some universities have retained the name “Sakai,” NWU has chosen the moniker “eFundi.”
The eFundi platform allows students and staff to accomplish a variety of things.
The portal allows students to upload e-materials to lectures. Giving students access to download and view these course materials, on the other hand.
It also gives students access to materials from the NWU Library.
This platform allows students to study without having to interact with their lecturer’s face to face. It also enables them to create quizzes from a distance.

Login to eFundi CAS

The CAS (Central Authentication Service) is a network protocol that lets you use a single login to access different apps or websites. All of NWU’s platforms, including DIY Services and eFundi, are using this technology.
A CAS login is required to access eFundi. Simply go to the efundi page if you have one.
In the top right corner, click “Login.”
Username and Password are required fields.
You should be able to access the platform after entering your Username and Password.
Because of the CAS protocol in place, if you change your password in eFundi, it will change everywhere.
