Brief on Milpark Business School

Milpark Business School (MBS) provides education and training that equips present and future leaders to be action-oriented, wise and pragmatic, and committed to doing business for the greater good, business that empowers and uplifts others, and business that generates long-term value for future generations.
Milpark’s multidisciplinary MBA program meets this requirement with a practical approach that provides advanced management and business leadership education to managers, professionals, and graduates. The program maintains a strong focus on major managerial areas while also emphasizing the critical abilities that distinguish our students as top business achievers. Future managers and leaders will also gain knowledge and skills in the areas of social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and corporate citizenship.

The cost of the application

Applicants from outside the United States must pay a $100 application fee and provide proof of payment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY

ROUTE 1 OF ENTRY

Academic selection criteria govern admission to the qualification. The applicant must meet the following requirements:

have a postgraduate diploma, honors degree, or a four-year Bachelor’s degree (with a Level 8 departure) or equivalent.
you must be at least 25 years old
earn a satisfactory score on either the Milpark or NMAT tests
have a minimum of three to four years of work experience in a related field
be able to communicate effectively in English (For international students, proof of competency may be required.)
Know how to use a computer and the Internet.
submit a one-page essay justifying his/her MBA admission.
present himself/herself to the Programme Manager for an interview.
Use the Milpark Business School CV template to submit your CV (template available on the online admission application).

ROUTE 2 OF ENTRY

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be used to gain admission to the qualification in rare circumstances (RPL).

Applicants in this category must present the following information on their application to indicate that they have appropriate professional experience:

A curriculum vitae that has been condensed
An autobiography essay

Furthermore, the applicant must:

present himself/herself for a challenge exam if the Panel believes it is necessary (on the merits of past work experience).
be at least 40 years old
a minimum of 15-20 years of related work experience
be in a position of Senior Management or Executive
earn a satisfactory score on either the Milpark or NMAT tests
submit a one-page essay justifying his/her MBA admission.
present himself/herself to the Programme Manager for an interview.

Note that no RPL candidates will be admitted to the Qualification until all Entry Route 1 spots have been filled.

AT LEVEL 9, AN MBA

Applicants for the MBA at Level 9 must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree (that exits at level 8), an Honours degree, a postgraduate diploma, or equivalent with at least three years of work experience.

WAYS TO REGISTER AND APPLY

Online registration is available at https://www.mba.co.za/. establishing a password and using your email address
After that, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account on the system.
To activate your registration, click the link.
This procedure will return you to ROSS, where you must select Admission/Other (clicking the right button here is important)
After that, you’ll be able to enter the username and password you created in step one.
After you’ve finished your application, click the button to accept the terms and conditions and submit it.
You must pay the R100 application fee once you have submitted your application. The system provides a number of possibilities.
If you pay your application fee at a bank, make a note of your application number on the deposit slip and email it to us.
We’ll process your application once you’ve completed the steps above, and you’ll be given a student number and login.
