• To check your application status at MUT, go to the MUT application progress tracker page >> Visit https://www.cao.ac.za/ for further information. Then To track the status of your application, go to ‘My Application.’
• Enter your personal information for verification reasons. To check the progress of your application at MUT, you will need your Student number, Surname /Last name, first name(s) /Forename(s), or email address, as well as the password you used when you applied for admission.
• Fill in the relevant information and click the next button to see the status of your application (i.e. Pending Review, Requires Action, Complete, Undergraduate Admission Decisions, Pending, Admitted, Cleared Provisional, Admission, Ineligible, Quota Filled Not Selected or Cancelled)
• You’ll also be able to see what papers have been received and whether any more are required to finish your application. Your application will be examined for a decision once all relevant documents, including official copies of transcripts and certificates, have been submitted.
• Your department will make a decision based on the timescales they have set. When the Office of Admissions gets the department’s decision, they will send you an email.
• By logging into your MUT applicant site, you can monitor the status of your application at any time.
• You have now received notification of your acceptance to the Mangosuthu University of Technology MUT. The next stage for successful applicants is to accept an admission offer as soon as possible. If you do not comply, your admission will be revoked, and the spot will be allocated to another applicant.
