In South Africa, the North-West University (NWU) is a public university with campuses within Potchefstroom, Mahikeng, and Vanderbijlpark. In 2004, the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education, which also had a branch in Vanderbijlpark, and the University of North-West (previously the University of Bophuthatswana) combined to establish the University of North-West.
North-West University is still one of South Africa’s largest universities, having the country’s third-highest student population following the merger (full-time and distance education).

HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO MY NWU ACADEMIC RECORDS?

STEP 1: Go to http://distance.nwu.ac.za/help.html on the UODL’s website.
Under “Assessment Information,” scroll down to “Academic Record.”
STEP 2: Type your Student Number (Username) and Password into the boxes provided.
STEP 3: Locate and choose “Academic Record” from the drop-down menu.
STEP 4: Your information has now been updated.
STEP 5: You will now be prompted to enter a password.

Do you wish to alter anything about your personal data?

From the drop-down option, choose “Student Access.”
