Marsha Fuerst founded the NWC in 1999. Since the early 1950s, Mrs. Fuerst’s family has been working in the allied health area. Mrs. Fuerst’s son, Mitchell Fuerst, currently owns and runs North-West College. One of the College’s founding principles is the Fuersts’ passion for career education and the purpose of providing outstanding, relevant instruction.
The mission of the University’s short-term programs is to prepare students for meaningful employment. To do this, the University has a professional faculty, well-qualified administration, and a top-notch support team. The facilities are well-equipped, clean, and artistically organized in order to preserve a dynamic, lively, and friendly attitude. The primary concern of the College is educational excellence. What is the address of my NWU Gmail account?

The NWU Gmail email address is studentnumber@student.g.nwu.ac.za (for example, 12345678@student.g.nwu.ac.za).

How will the NWU know which email address to use for my correspondence?

During the enrollment process, students are urged to enter their NWU Gmail email address as the official email address for NWU correspondence.

How can I get into my NWU Gmail?

Launch a web browser.
Go to www.google.co.za.
Click on the Gmail link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Select Add Account.
In the “Enter your email” field, enter your NWU Gmail account.
You will be sent to the NWU CAS website, where you must enter your student ID and password. You’ll then be able to access your email and other Google applications.

Is it necessary for me to activate my NWU Gmail account?

No. Your account has already been established; all you need to do now is log in.

Do you already have a Gmail account?

How long will I be allowed to use my Northwest University Gmail address?

The NWU Gmail email account is only active for the duration of the student’s affiliation with the NWU and gives access to the Google Suite of applications (unlimited mail and cloud storage as well as other Google apps).

What about my Microsoft email account?

The NWU Gmail email address is not to be confused with the Microsoft email address (NWU#@student365.msfed.nwu.ac.za) used to access Office 365 ProPlus.
