Application requirements for the NWU

All Applicants should read and understand these Admission Requirements before applying for admission to North-West University (NWU).

Applicants who are beginning a new qualification must upload the necessary documents, which frequently include:

  • a copy of your academic credentials (eg Senior Certificate)
  • (If appropriate), a copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (internet copies will not be accepted)
  • A copy of your ID document (if you are an RSA student) or your ID/passport (international students)
  • a copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree (if appropriate) (if applicable)
  • Documents must be sworn translated if they are not in English or Afrikaans.
