About Tshwane University of Technology
- Tshwane University of Technology (TUT; Afrikaans: Tshwane-Universiteit vir Tegnologie) is a South African higher education school that was formed by combining three technikons: Technikon Northern Gauteng, Technikon North-West, and Technikon Pretoria.
- The Tshwane University of Technology was founded in 2004 when three technikons merged to form Tshwane University of Technology. The university merger strives to correct historical injustices by offering access to all of our communities and a home for all of our students.
By expanding access to higher education to solve our triple concerns of poverty, inequality, and unemployment, higher education institutions provide an intellectual home for all of our people, especially those on the periphery of society, both rural and urban.
TUT online registration dates 2023-2024
- The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) administration has launched the student registration portal for new and returning students to register for semester courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. For both registration and the closure of the registration portal, certain dates and deadlines have been defined. It is recommended that you register early in order to avoid losing your TUT studentship, as late registration is not accepted.
- The registration deadline, often known as the closing date, is a deadline set by the institution for registering courses and modules for the semester. The submission deadline for South African schools (universities and colleges) is normally 2 weeks to 1 month after the student registration site opens.
The following dates are important for applicants to remember:
- Subject registration for newly accepted students will begin on January 21, 2022, and end on February 9, 2022.
- Senior student registration opens on February 10, 2022, and expires on February 25, 2022.
