UNIZULU online Registration 2023-2024

  • Before you begin registering, be sure you have accepted the University’s offer of admission. You can do so on the Unizulu website or by filling out a form and sending it to them.
  • Check to see if you have the following documents on hand:
  • a certified copy of your identification
  • Matric statement/certificate certified copy
  • Proof of address
  • Passport, study permit, SAQA verification certificate, proof of financial means, and proof of medical insurance are required for international students.
  • Orientation for first-year students will begin on March 8th and will be conducted entirely online.

  • The University of Zululand (also known as UNIZULU) is located in KwaZulu-Natal, immediately south of Empangeni and north of the Thukela River.
  • UNIZULU offers a mix of university courses and career-focused programs that respond to the needs of both industry stakeholders and the rural population, in line with the government’s vocational approach to higher education. The institution thus meets the needs of both “entrepreneurial” and “alternative” education.

Registration using the internet

  • The following material was gathered to walk first-time entering students through the web-based registration process step by step. There are 13 steps in this procedure. Please read through the steps carefully;
  • Students log in with their student number and PIN, which they received with their registration paperwork.
  • If a student loses their pin, it can be reissued by an ICT support person.

  • To begin, go to the right-hand menu and select “Registration.” All students who are registering must follow the “Rules and Regulations” for registration.

  • Please select an item from the dropdown box to reflect your job status. Choose the appropriate status option. This is a requirement!
  • Please note that Education students have an additional menu option to choose from. Choose the appropriate status option. This is a requirement! Other faculties will not be able to see this section.
  • To proceed, select “Save and Continue.”
  • All compulsory subjects on the list must be selected by all incoming first-year students.
  • To continue, click “Save and Continue.”

  • The preceding information is provided solely as a guide. Continue using the steps below.
    Select “Proof of registration –PDF” from the right-hand menu to get a printed version that you’ll need to finish the rest of the registration procedure.
  • Here, you’ll be able to choose from a print menu. Your Proof of Registration will be printed in three copies. Please finish your registration at the next designated registration location.

Online Application

  • Visit http://www.unizulu.ac.za/ to register online. establishing a password and using your email address
  • After that, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account on the system.
  • To activate your registration, click the link.
  • This procedure will return you to ROSS, where you must select Admission/Other (clicking the right button here is important)
  • After that, you’ll be able to enter the username and password you created in step one.
  • After you’ve finished your application, click the button to accept the terms and conditions and submit it.
  • You must pay the R100 application fee once you have submitted your application. The system provides a number of possibilities.
  • If you pay your application fee at a bank, make a note of your application number on the deposit slip and email it to us.
  • We’ll process your application once you’ve completed the steps above, and you’ll be given a student number and login.
